Mr. Brian David Mallette, age 59, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. He loved his family and his grandchildren and was returning home for Thanksgiving from his job when he was tragically killed in an automobile accident in Jefferson, Georgia.
Brian was a 1976 graduate of Vancleave High School, where he was an outstanding football player. He was a lifelong resident of Vancleave and employed with Fluor Construction.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George E. Mallette and parents, George W. "Scrap" and Lila Mallette.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Mallette, three grandchildren, Shea Mallette, Ayden Mallette and Abigail Mallette, five sisters, Glenda Mallette Inabinette, Carolyn Mallette (Ken) Newman, Darlene Mallette (Virgil) Barton, Marlene Mallette Ainsworth and Tammy Mallette (Scott) Noble, two brothers, Ronnie Mallette and Bobby (Debbie) Mallette and special friends, Johnny Etherton and Bill Flurry.
On Wednesday, November 29, there will be a 12 noon graveside service in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Vancleave.
The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
