Cindy Smart Carrubba

Cindy Smart Carrubba, age 64 of Long Beach passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was a graduate of Long Beach High School and Jeff Davis Junior College. Cindy was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach. She worked two years as a dental hygienist, ten years at Interchecks and thirteen years at USPS. After retirement Cindy loved to antique shop and attend any new store openings. She was a wonderful mother to her children and enjoyed a very close relationship with her nephew Josh Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher C. Carrubba; her father, Leonard M. Smart; mother, Patricia R. Smart, grandparents, Bernard and Margaret Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel C. Magee (Shea); and son, Christopher P. Carrubba (Livia Myers); her sister, Susan (Troy) Grantham; her brothers, David Smart (Stephanie Rosetti) and Stevan Smart; and a grandson, Davis Alexander Magee; and many nieces and nephews and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The funeral service is Thursday July 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. 15th Street, Gulfport with the visitation one hour before.
