David Lee Stiver

David Lee Stiver, 76, of Gulfport, MS, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 in Gulfport. Mr. Stiver was a native of Ohio and a resident of the Coast for 27 years. He owned Wiggins Trading Post in Saucier for 25 years along with Saucier Wholesale. Mr. Stiver was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, past king of the MS Chapter of Tops #214 and a past member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Stiver; his sisters, Janet, Alice and Doris; and his brother, Carl Stiver. Mr. Stiver’s survivors include his wife, Peggy Nell Stiver; his daughters, Patricia Smith, Diana Carpenter and Katherine Louviere; his sons, Thomas Stiver and Paul Stiver; his sister, Marilyn Lamb; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time.
