Deanna Grady Comer, age 81, of D’Iberville, MS passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Deanna was born in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a member of the D’Iberville Historical Society, The Hibernia Marching Society, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of D’Iberville. She was a graduate of the Sacred Heart Academy in 1956. Deanna enjoyed all the great treasures that the Coast has to offer, from sailing on the waters to sitting under the oak trees watching the sun set on the property that has been in the family for five generations. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, mawmaw, and granny and will be missed by all.
Deanna is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Comer; parents, Henry and Ruby Grady; and two sisters, Timmie Fountain and Karen Scarbrough.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Cheryl) Comer of Perkinston; daughter, Lisa (Donnie) Premeaux of Perkinston; sister, Debbie (Gene) Mowrey of St. Martin; grandson, Chris (Kalie) Gollott of Perkinston; and great-grandchildren, Payton, Caden, Kaleb, and Gracie Shae Gollott.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit one-hour prior. Burial will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
