Earl “Bob” Twigg, age 85, of Gulfport died Monday, September 21, 2015 in Gulfport. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland. He was retired after 27 years from Keesler Air Force Base and was a member of the Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rites and the Polish Star # 154 Masonic Lodge in Handsboro.
He was preceded in death by second wife, Janet K. Stosberg; and his parents, Earl Twigg and Ethel Pearl Valentine; a sister, Gertrude Holliday; and a brother, Carl “June” Twigg.
Mr. Twigg is survived by his former wife and best friend, Janet L. Twigg; a daughter, Susan Peterson; a son, Steven Twigg (Jackie); a sister, Ethel Monnett; and four grandchildren, Christina Peterson, Jonathan Holmes, Kara Twigg, and Zoe Twigg as well as family and friends throughout the country.
The funeral service is Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Shriner’s Hospital, C/O Joppa Shrine, 13280 Old highway 67, Biloxi, MS 39532.
