Eugene Fancher

Eugene Fancher, age 87, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Eugene was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast and was a member of the St. John Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean conflict on the USS Palau and a volunteer with the Biloxi VA, along with his wife. Eugene is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy, and daughter, Bonnie. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jacqueline Fountain Fancher; two daughters, Kathy McDow and Lori Dibell; son, Gregory Eugene Fancher; step-daughter, Sandy Ross; three step-sons, Paul Roberts, Jr., Gregory Roberts, and Richard Roberts; and six grandchildren. A graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 10am. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
