Holly Myers, a resident of North Carolina passed into eternal life on April 2, 2021.
Holly was born at Frankfort Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1965, to Harold and Mary Myers. She was a graduate of Moss Point High School class of 1983. She then received her nursing degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Holly started her career at Singing River Hospital and then later worked at Ocean Springs Hospital and Gulf Coast Medical Center. After Hurricane Katrina, she relocated to Goldsboro, North Carolina to continue her nursing career.
Holly was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Verna McGuire and Harold and Irene Myers, and Uncle Bob McGuire.
Holly leaves to cherish her memories her mother and father, Mary and Harold Myers, three brothers, Rob (Kim), Kenny, and Davy (Kami). Nieces and nephew, Alyssa, Paige, Lileigh, Eli Myers and Bradyn Dosher. Aunts and uncles Sue and Kenneth McGuire, Ann and Pat McGuire, and Betsy and Ron Myers. Cousins Janet (George) Wolfarth, Ron Myers, Steve and Craig McGuire and many friends.
Holly was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and niece. She loved her rock music, attending concerts, trips to the beach and exploring new places.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Safe Harbor Methodist Church in Escatawpa, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 and service to follow. She loved first responders and veterans. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in honor of Holly to one of the following: The Sean M Cooley Citizen Soldier Nursing Scholarship (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College) or National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
