Lynda Lea Rusk

Lynda Lea Rusk, age 54, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 after a long life with her mother and caregivers. She was born April 19, 1964. She attended Ocean Springs Schools and Jackson County Exceptional School, and later worked at the Jackson County Training Center for several years. Lynda is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Rusk. Survivors include her loving mother, Ernestine Rusk; sister, Cynthia (Mickey) Flowers; brother, Steve (Shelia) Rusk; nieces, Kim (Douglas) Barton, Robin (John) Thomas, and Lauren (Ken) Hayman; great-nieces, Taylor Ann Rusk, Grace Barton, and Henley Thomas; and great-nephew, Brayden Thomas. There will be a Celebration of Life for Lynda Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Lisa Gonzales, Cindy Durr, and Sandy Carter as loving home caregivers for many years of service. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be sent to South Mississippi Regional Center, located at 1170 West Railroad Street, Long Beach, MS 39560.
