Richard James Ballow

Richard James Ballow, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Richard was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and long time resident of Ocean Springs, MS. He was a member of McLeod 424 F&AM Masonic Lodge, Scottishrite bodies, Yorkrite Bodies, and Joppa Shrine Temple. He was a pastmaster of McLeod Lodge in Ocean Springs. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. Ballow and Relma Marie (Jarreau) Ballow; his sister, Vivian Pence; his brothers, Edward J. Ballow, Thomas Harold Ballow Donica W. Ballow; loving couple often referred to as brother and sister, Joseph D. and Ruby Joyce Rodriguez; close friends, Douglas and Maria Nelson of Ocean Springs, MS; and many other loving friends. Richard's survivors include his wife, Aline J. Ballow; his children, Vickie (Walter) Rogers, Richard (Sharron) W. Ballow, and Nancy D. Ladnier; his brother, John Ray (Myrna) Ballow of Baton Rouge, LA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is truly loved and will be greatly missed. We love you. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with a 10:30 a.m. service, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
