Adair Louise Johnson

Adair Johnson, age 57, of Ocean Springs went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2008. Mrs. Johnson was born in Norfolk, VA on Halloween in 1950, one of triplet sisters. Raised in Virginia Beach, she was a graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA. She then received her Bachelor's degree in Art Education at James Madison University. Adair has been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past thirty-four years. She retired from the Biloxi School System in 2000, having taught Art for twenty-five years. She was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority of Educators. After retirement, she taught for two years at Cedar Lake Christian Academy and was the salon manager at Creative Touch salon in Hurley, MS. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pauline Archibald and her triplet sister, Blair Archibald. Survivors include her husband and soulmate of thirty-four years, Lee Virgil "Hack" Johnson of Ocean Springs; sisters, Pauline Reeves of Portsmouth, VA and Claire Wimmer of Marietta, GA; a brother, William Archibald of Chesapeake, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in the chapel of the funeral home. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS. Because of her love for dogs, the family prefers memorial donations be made to the Humane Society.
