Mr. Adloe Orr III, age 69, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Friday, January 11, 2008, in Ocean Springs.
Adloe (known to many as Buddy) was born on July 8, 1938, in New Orleans, LA, where he spent his childhood and attended Tulane University. After working for his father's surveying company in New Orleans, Adloe took flying lessons and became a pilot for Eastern Airlines in Atlanta, GA, retiring after 23 years as a Captain while living in Athens, GA. He relocated to Ocean Springs, MS., fulfilling his lifelong dream of retiring to the Gulf Coast. Adloe's passions included riding motorcycles, automobile racing, Jeopardy, fishing, hunting, cooking, visiting friends, and most of all his five grandchildren.
Adloe is survived by his wife Betty; sons Michael (and wife Pam), Mason, and Rob; daughters Monica and Bonnie (and husband Bruce); and grandchildren Ashley, Luke, Zack, Camille, and Avery. Also surviving are sisters Lynette ( and husband Larry), Elaine (and husband Tony), his brother Randy, and several nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. His parents were Adloe Orr Jr. and Blanche Bieck Orr of New Orleans, LA.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Community Pharmacy at: P.O. Box 1228, Biloxi, MS. 39533.
