Aileen Johnson Cameron

Mrs. Aileen Johnson Cameron, 95, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, February 26, 2010, in Gulfport. Mrs. Cameron was a native of Neshoba County, MS, and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1942. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gulfport and Seekers Sunday School Class. She retired in 1984 from the accounting department at Mississippi Power Company after 25 years and 4 months of employment. Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Cameron; daughter, Kathryn Alayne Cameron; and parents, Andrew Louis Johnson and Tempia Alleda Crews Johnson. She is survived by her son, Drew Cameron and his wife, Jan, of Long Beach; and three grandsons, Brent, Scott and Derek. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials made to Grace Memorial Baptist Church Nursery, 2412 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Grace Memorial Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
