Albert Easton D'Orville

Mr. Albert Easton D’Orville, Jr., age 91, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. He was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and retired civil service from Keesler AFB. He was a longtime scout leader of troop 213 and involved in scouting for over 70 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus 1244, Assembly 557, 4th degree of Biloxi. He loved all parades, especially Mardi Gras. Mr. D’Orville was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruby Prattini D’Orville; his parents, Albert and Helen D’Orville; and a brother, Glen D’Orville. Survivors include one sister, Dale Heidgerken; one sister-in-law, Martha “Tanny” D’Orville; special niece, Terry Poelma; a nephew, John Poelma; dear friends and caregivers, Pete Broussard, Cynthia McEldowney, and Shirley McGonagle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church from 9:00 am - 10:00 am with a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
