Albert James "AJ" Sirmon

On August 24, 2023, Albert James “AJ” Sirmon was taken home by his Lord and Savior. He was 87 years old and lived a full and blessed life. AJ was born September 9, 1935 in Loxley, AL but lived most of his adult life in Biloxi, MS. He was a proud former Marine and former employee of Huntington Ingalls. AJ loved shrimping, fishing and being with his family. He attended Ocean Springs Assembly Church. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Velma Cruse Sirmon; his two brothers; and his sister.

AJ is survived by his three daughters, Kathy Tracy (Tom), Helen Sirmon (Emily), and Rose Miller (Bill); and his niece, Mildred Brown. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Joshua Toler, Matthew Toler, Sherri Minchew, and Paul Miller. He had many great-grandchildren, but Shane and Mason Toler were dear to his heart. 

A Graveside Service will be held at Biloxi City Cemetery on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11:00 am.
