Aleta Bell Melvin

Mrs. Aleta Melvin, 86, a life long resident of Biloxi, MS, died March 1, 2005 in Gulfport. MS. Mrs. Melvin was of the Methodist Faith. She was the owner of Kitchen Center Incorporated and for several years in the 70's, she was a volunteer at the Biloxi Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Willie Robbins and her 2nd husband, Lawrence Melvin, two sons, William Robbins, Sr., and Gary W. Robbins. She is survived by one daughter, Donna R. Acevedo of Biloxi, MS. and five grandchildren William R. Robbins, Jr., Brian Scott Robbins, Jonda Acevedo Seymour, Dina Acevedo Coblentz, and John Gary Acevedo. Services will be held on Saturday March 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., at the Howard Ave. chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, Friends may call one hour before services. Burial will follow in the Biloxi City Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
