Alex Chester

Mr. Alex Chester, 65, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, December 25, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Chester was a native of Sumrall, MS and had been a resident of the coast since 1956. He was a a brick mason and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Chester was preceded in death by his son, Charles Chester; father, John Joseph Chester; sister, Veronica E. Nguyen, and a grandson, Donnie Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Ann Tiblier Chester of Biloxi; four daughters, Shelia Marie Chester, Alena Mae Chester, Julie Ann Chester and Cheryl Lynn Spencer and her husband, Eric; one son, John Felix Chester and his wife, Lolitta; his mother, Allie Mae Cameron Chester, all of Biloxi; three sisters, Carol Webster of Ocean Springs, Charlotte K. Myers and Joanna Lynn Bui both of Biloxi; two brothers, Nolan Chester and Michael Chester of Biloxi; ten grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
