Alfred Frentz

Alfred E. Frentz, 72, of Ocean Springs, formerly of Biloxi, died January 19, 2005 at Keesler Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester O. Frentz, and mother, Vera Mathieu Cambre; a brother, Lester A. Frentz; and sisters Marion Diez and Norma Wade. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine (Gerry) Frentz; son Marc (Jamie) Frentz; daughters Karen (Mike) McAndrews, Ann (Greg) Williams, and Susan Frentz; grandchildren Matthew, Rachel, Joseph and Paul Frentz, Jacob Lindsey, Jet Williams, Maggie Frentz, and step-grandchildren Kim and Chance Williams and Jessica (Chris) Gandolfo. Al retired after 20 years of military service in the Navy and Air Force and 20 years in civil service at Keesler AFB. He served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He held an honorary membership with the Knights of Columbus and Biloxi Elks. Al attended Notre Dame High School and was a long time member of Sacred Heart Church in North Biloxi. Al loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spent many hours in his garden. He will be greatly missed. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 22, 2005, 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville, where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
