Alice Odeal Anderson

Alice Odeal Anderson, a loving mother and grandmother, passed peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2016. For many years, she worked as a Machinist and ran a family dairy in the Lizana community. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a Family History Missionary in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lamey, Sr. and Alice Chatham Lamey; her husband, Robert Lee Anderson, Sr.; and a daughter, Rhonda Anderson. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Deborah Childress, Robert Anderson, Jr., Samuel Anderson (Sonijh), Lanette Sproles (David), Dennis Anderson (Donna), Denise Boller (Wayne), David Anderson, Michelle Anderson, Jayson Anderson, Jayla Anderson and Jolyn Anderson; brother, Leslie Lamey; sister, Cindy McAnnally; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Cemetery on Alcede Lizana Road. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge.
