Mrs. Alice Bellande Dubaz, 81, of Biloxi died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Dubaz was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi and a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Dubaz was a retired librarian from the K.A.F.B. Library.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John “J.B.” Dubaz; her parents, Elliott “Pete” and and Ernestine Balius Bellande; her sister, Margaret B. Schneider; and her mother and father-in-law, John and Cecile Dubaz.
Survivors include her cousins, Fern D. O’Neal and Trilla Hanson; her sister-in-laws, Eunice Dubaz Conger, Lillian Dubaz Pierce, Beverly Dubaz Romeo and Martha Dubaz Weaver; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and good friends.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to her caregivers, Tom and Carolyn Thompson and the staff of Camelia Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until mass time. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
