Alice Maria Capal

Alice Maria Capal, age 99, of Gautier, MS passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 in Biloxi.

Mrs. Capal was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She will be greatly missed by loved ones, family, friends and all people that knew her. Mrs. Capal was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She received her Associates Degree in Business. Mrs. Capal enjoyed swimming, volleyball, going to the beach, playing the slots at the casinos and dancing. As a homemaker, Mrs. Capal enjoyed cooking her traditional Czech cuisine for family and friends. She loved to look glamorous.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Gajda.

Mrs. Capal’s survivors include her son, Richard Morrison; her daughter, Jo Anne Besselievre; and her grandson, Adam Besselievre.

Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530 on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park, 11041 Gorenflo Road, D’Iberville, MS 39540.
