ALICE FAYE GRUBBS Alice "Faye" Grubbs, 74, of Moss Point, went home with her Savior on Monday April 21st, after battling heart failure and cancer. She spent the last 4 years of her life enjoying the company of friends and family at Carlow Manor in Gulfport, Mississippi. Faye was born to Eunice and Oscar Burge in Picayune, Mississippi on April 1, 1934. She had 2 brothers and one sister, Earline, Devant and Oyt Burge. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Dalton Grubbs, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. They raised four children, Karen Fabiano, wife of Mark Fabiano; Sharon Drummond, wife of Peter Drummond; Michael Grubbs, husband of Debbie Vice- Grubbs and Randy Grubbs. In return they were rewarded with 9 grandchildren; Laura Paulk, Dustin Grubbs, Micah Grubbs-Badeaux, Candace Grubbs, Desiree' Fabiano-Bourgeois, Chad Grubbs, Joshua Drummond, Paris Drummond-Schepemaker,and Karen Alexandria Drummond along with 5 Great Grandchildren. Haley, Madalyn, Jake, Elijah and Ava Rose. Faye was a member of Evangel Temple in Moss Point, Mississippi. Viewing will be from 12 until 1:00 p.m. with the service following on Friday, April 25th at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport. Burial will be at 2:30 at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Her Pastor, Don Edeker, will deliver the eulogy. A special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Memorial Hospital and Lakeview Nursing Center that gave extraordinary care, comfort and loving kindness to not only our mother, but to us, the family. We could not have made it without you. A very special thanks to you Lord for your mercy and grace.
