Alice Marion Severson

Alice Marion Eggers “Ame” Severson, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. Alice was born in Dallas, Texas on September 4, 1941. She has been a resident of Ocean Springs for over 25 years. Alice retired as a manager at the US West Telephone Company in Phoenix, Arizona. Alice was also a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, a member of the Daughter of the King and Merry Widows Club. She volunteered at The Lord is My Help. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip L. Severson. Alice’s survivors include a daughter, Carla Marie Martin; a son, Anthony David (Julie) Martin; step-children, Brenda, Nora, Ava, Sari, Jane, Mike, Steve, Jack, and Phillip, Jr.; a sister, Ella (Walter) Forsiak; and many grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church at 10:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge.
