Mr. Allen Dean Ebbeka, age 78, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Allen was born on April 23, 1942 in Hanna, Wyoming. He served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years including the Vietnam Era. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He spent his time making sure his family had everything they needed. Allen was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Vancleave. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Orville Woodrow Ebbeka and Dorothy Faye Ebbeka; wife, Mary Ann Ebbeka; mother-in-law, Rose Palazzolo; and brother, Kay Ebbeka.
Survivors include his daughters, Susan (Bennie) Newton, Rosanne Walters, Debby (Kenneth) Andrews and Ann Marie Ussery; grandchildren, Eddie, Monica, Dean, Angela, Danny and Rachel Andrews and Candace and Jonathan Wright, Morgan and Malea Bell, Carly Walters, Matthew, Jessie and Tillman Newton, Tiffany and Aaron Skoglund, Maddie and Marissa Ussery; great grandchildren, Christian, Haley, Mason, Caleb, Hanna, Kaitlin, Cody, Zane, Casey, Chauncey, Emma, Fletcher and Wade; and his dog, Pete.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior. A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery. View and sign online tribute at WWW.BOKFH.COM
