Mr. Alonzo Waltman, 82, of Vancleave, MS., died Friday, February 27, 2009, in Vancleave.
Mr. Waltman was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. He retired from the MGCCC in Gautier and was a member of the Vancleave Holiness Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, devoting all of his time to his family.
He is preceded in death by his son, James Will Waltman and great-grandson, Nicholas Pace.
Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae Waltman of Vancleave, two daughters, Pauline Pace of Vancleave and Bonnie (Avery) Sapp of Collins, GA., one son, Lonnie Lee (Gearldine) Waltman, a sister, Rincy Waltman, both of Vancleave, 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2009, from 6-9 PM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, March 2, 2009, there will be a 12 Noon church service at Vancleave Holiness Church, where friends may visit from 11 AM - 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
