Alvin Andrew Kuehn, Jr

EQCM/CMDMC(SCW) A.A. "Randy" Kuehn Jr., Retired, 59, of Gulfport died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Gulfport. Mr. Kuehn graduated from Kenesaw High School, Kenesaw, Nebraska in 1967. He earned his associates degree from Central Nebraska Technical College in May 1969, and entered the Navy in July 1969. In 1991, he moved to Gulfport, MS, for duty with NMCB 133, where he was selected for senior chief. Following that assignment, he transferred to NMCB Seven and was selected for Master Chief Master Chief Kuehn was a member of many Navy organization and earned many awards. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin A. Kuehn, Sr. He is survived by his wife Nancy M. Kuehn of Gulfport, daughter, Sarah Hardee (Jesse) of Gulfport, his mother, Daisy Kuehn of Mimden, NE, one sister, Norma Rust (John) of Hastings, NE., two brothers, Kermit Kuehn of Fort Smith, AR, Raymond Kuehn of Beatrice, NE, one granddaughter, a number of nieces and nephews . The funeral service were held at 10:30AM Monday in the Seabee Base Chapel. Interment followed at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
