Alvin James "Jimmy" Broussard

Alvin James "Jimmy" Broussard, 72, of D'Iberville died Sunday, July 15, 2007 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Broussard was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a welder for Ingalls Shipbuilding for 30 years. Mr. Broussard was Catholic. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Broussard is preceded in death by his parents, Finelan Broussard and Gladys Stoute Broussard. He is also preceded in death by his son, Alvin James Broussard, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Broussard, five daughters, Vickie Picard, Kathy Boudreaux, Deanna Mills, Lisa Cowart and Rhonda DeRouen, a brother, Steve Broussard, 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 19, 2007, 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit one prior. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi.
