Alvin W. Lee

Alvin W. Lee, born August 4th 1937 and long time resident of Woolmarket, MS passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, 25 April 2006. Born in Picayune, MS and raised on the Gulf Coast, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bille Sue, also known as "Ms Billie" and five children; Alvin and his wife, Angela of San Antonio, TX, Doug and his wife, Ollieann of Pass Christian, Carl and his wife, Billie of Gulfport, Karla, and Michelle of Woolmarket. He also had four siblings, Charlotte,Curtis, Douglas, and Carlos Lee; and thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Alvin, who was affectionately know as "the Mayor of Woolmarket" by his family and friends will be greatly missed. Visitation services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, in Gulfport from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service is Friday, April 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woolmarker Cemetery at Coalville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
