Amanda Gay Ealy, age 55, died Friday, September 16, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.
She was born in Gulfport, MS. She was an Operations Specialist for Innowave Marketing Group. She was the Chairperson to the Pascagoula River Tribe (PRT).
Amanda was an amazing dog mom, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She was also an avid cyclist. She would often ride miles upon miles for races and leisure. One of her favorite things to do on vacations was to encourage her family and friends to ride around the town they were vacationing in. She always was there to listen and would often provide good advice due to the long list of subjects she was knowledgeable in. She was a Christian and enjoyed sharing her faith. Amanda’s favorite quote was, “Bless your heart.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin John Ealy and Gaynell Phelps Ealy; her brothers Marvin Glen Ealy and Bishop John Ealy. She is survived by her brother and sister Timothy Ealy (Tracy) and Ronda Michelle Hebert (Darrel); Nieces, Angel Hebert, Emily Goff (Jonathan), and Cortney McDill (Cory).
Visitation will be at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in the First Free Church of God Cemetery on Three Rivers Road. There will be a gathering after the services at Simply Church, 18233 Hwy. 53, Gulfport, MS 39503.
