Amelia Ashley

Amelia Smith Ashley, 77, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005. Mrs. Ashley was a native of Springfield, Ill. and has resided on the coast for 30 years. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Ashley, and is survived by six sisters, Wanda Ely, husband Andrew, Leona Blake, Mary Redding, Theresa Lewis, Helen Ely-Granados and her husband Reynaldo and Caroline Dietrich, two brothers, Andrew Ely, and John Ely, wife Bernadette, sister-in-law, Leona Bottom, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Howard Ave. Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday March 8, 2005 from 9am-10am, with service to follow at 10 am. Burial will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.
