Amy Ann Christian Baronich

Amy Ann Christian Baronich passed away Sunday, March 10th, 2024 in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born December 20th, 1931 in Muskogee, OK. 

She formerly resided in Biloxi, MS and Hot Springs Village, AR, but her heart was always in the mountains of Arkansas!  She graduated from Biloxi High School and attended Whitworth College for Women in Brookhaven, MS. She was a member of the DAR, UDC, Daughters of 1812, and Colonial Dames of MS and AR. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Jackson Christian Cusac and Clarence Christian of OK; her husband, Victor A. Baronich, of 53 years; her daughter, Amy Dianne Baronich Adamson; and son, Martin Chris Baronich. 

She is survived by her son, Victor J. Baronich (Marsha) of Vancleave and her daughter-in-law, Michelle Baronich of St. Martin; four grandchildren, Emily Wilson (Gary) of League City, TX; Victor L. Baronich (Rachel) of Vancleave, Ashleigh Baronich Redding (Jeffery) of Ocean Springs, and Scarlett Baronich of D'Iberville MS; nine great-grandchildren, Porter Baronich, Annastyn Baronich, Pierce Baronich, Penn Baronich, Jayson Redding, Heath Redding and Stella Redding, who loved her dearly and she them. 

Pall bearers will be Victor L. Baronich, Jeffery Redding, Johnny Baronich, 

Stephen Baronich, Harold Baronich, and Billy Baronich. Honorary pall bearers will be, Marty Adamson, Ian Wilson, Porter Baronich, Pierce Baronich, Penn Baronich, Jayson Redding and Heath Redding 

A special thank you to Chaplain Diane Lemmon and the nurses of Enhabit Hospice and to the nurses and care givers at Lighthouse Memory Care in Ocean Springs MS. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
