Amy Day

Amy Day, 72 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

She was born on April 4, 1951 in Jackson, MS. She graduated from Poplarville High School. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and being with her family. She loved boxer dogs, and they loved her back. She had a love for tulips, magnolias, and the Smokey Mountains. She was an avid reader, who enjoyed Danielle Steele and John Grisham. She was immensely proud of her granddaughters and everything they have accomplished so far in their young lives. She loved her partner Jeff for twenty- five years. She was also very proud of her daughter, and she thought they world of her son-in-law. She will be greatly missed.

Amy was preceded in death by her son, Eric Spiers; and pet, Paris.

She is survived by her domestic partner, Jeffery Qualls; child, Lacey Spier (Michael) Harris; grandchildren, Liliana Harris and Kinsey Harris; and pet, Indigo.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
