Ana Georgina Osorio Velasquez

Ana Georgina Osorio Velasquez, 97, of Biloxi, MS passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. Ana was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to Miguel Osorio Giron and Emilia Velasquez de Osorio on June 19^, 1925. She graduated from the Instituto Central Tegucigalpa Honduras and when to work as a records clerk at city hall in Tegucigalpa. In her free time, Ana loved to travel, cook, and garden.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel Osorio Giron and Emilia Velasquez de Osorio; spouse, Gaetano Napolitano; children, Ana Graciela Funes Osorio and Carlos Adan Funes Osorio; and siblings, Miguel Osorio Valesquez, Rodolfo Osorio Valesquez, Edgardo Osorio Valesquez and Yolanda Sanchez.

Survivors include her children, Margarita (Duane) Gehl, Nidia (Steve) Emil, and Xenia Napolitano; grandchildren, Tony (Lynda) Gehl, Michael (Nicole) Gehl, Carlos A. Mazariegos, Daniel Mazariegos, Alejandra Judy (Tim) Williams, Margarita (Rodrigo) Lopez, Ana Patricia Lopez, and Victor Manuel Lopez; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren; and her German Shepherd, Gunther.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ana’s name be made to Operation Smiles, Saint Jude, or Gulfport Humane Society.
