Mrs. Angela J. Noble, age 62, of Vancleave, MS, was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, on April 30, 1955 and passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Ocean Springs, MS.
Angela has been a resident of the Ocean Springs/Vancleave area since 1972 and was the daughter of Clifford and Jeannette Stephens. She graduated from Ocean Springs High School and held numerous positions as bookkeeper over the years. She was employed by the Jackson County School District as a bookkeeper and enjoyed her “dream” job, especially the working relationships with her co-workers and supervisors. Angela loved spending time with her family and friends, but her greatest joy was going to Horn Island with her family, especially her grandchildren, Harbor and Claire.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford D. Stephens and her brother, Frank T. Stephens.
Survivors include her husband, John W. (Rick) Noble, Sr., sons, John W. (Ricky) Noble, Jr. (Carol), and Brian J. Noble (Kelly); grandchildren, Harbor and Claire; step-grandchildren, Paul, Destany, Josh, Alexis; her mother, Jeannette Stephens; siblings, Penny Jennings (Doug) and Bruce Stephens; sister-in- law, Susan Stephens; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynda and Tom Brokl, Brenda and Clint Conerly; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life Service will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, where friends may visit between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
The family would like to thank all of the families and friends, too numerous to name, for their love, support, and prayers. The family also appreciates the support from Angela’s co-workers and supervisors at Jackson County School District in Vancleave, and Rick’s co-workers and supervisors at Huntington Ingalls Industries.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Angela’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, St. John's Samaritan Ministries, or to your favorite charity.
