Anita Bowers Melvin

Mrs. Anita Bowers Melvin, age 56, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, January 15, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Melvin was a native of Texas and a resident of the coast for 8 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mike Melvin of Ocean Springs, MS., daughter, Melissa Ann (Greg) Giangrosso and their daughter, Lillie Renee, all of New Orleans, LA., son, John Michael Melvin, Jr. of Ocean Springs, MS., parents, Jack and Anna Bowers of McAllen, TX., sister, Susan Daley of Ozark, AL., and brother, Jack Bower, Jr. of McAllen, TX. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2007, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Mrs. Melvin will be missed by all who knew her.
