Ann Burke

Ann Burke, 66, of St. Martin drifted away peacefully into eternal sleep on January 9, 2012. Ann was born in Berea, OH and was a long time resident of the MS Gulf Coast. Ann was a loving mother, a devoted nanny and a dear friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved spending time with her grandsons, family, friends and her "second family" at Pizza Hut. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Archer Castle, Jr. and Sarah Ellen Castle; and by her dear friend, Sally Clark. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Amy Lynn (Burke) Frentz; her son, Brian Scott Burke and daughter-in-law, Ashley Burke; her four grandsons, Brendan, Ryan, Landon and Parker; her brother, Fred Castle; her sister, Mary Kohanski; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Ann was very close with her family and she found great joy in spending time with them. She was not only a mother and a nanny, but also a best friend. Her infectious smile and electric personality will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
