Ann D. Scelba

Ann D. Scelba, 79, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Ann was born July 20, 1943.

After graduating high school, Ann went on to obtain a Bachelor Degree in Health and Physical Education at Trenton State College. In 1977, she received a Master of Education in Educational Theory at Rutgers University and in 1983, she graduated from Temple University with a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology. Later, in 1998, she received a Ph.D in Energy Healing at The Union Institute and University. After receiving her degrees, Ann worked as an Elementary school physical education teacher. She was also the founder of Heart of the Sequoia, an Energy Medicine Practice.

Ann is survived by her twin sister, Jo Crews; brother, James Scelba; and sisters, Joan Marks and Mary Scelba.

A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at The Nourishing Place, 606 Tennessee Street, Gulfport, MS 39507. A visitation and a reception will follow the service in Fellowship Hall
