Mrs. Ann Johnson Davis of Ocean Springs, MS. died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at her daughter, Brenda's home in Charlotte, NC after a brief battle with lung cancer. Mrs. Davis was born in Baltimore, MD on September 26, 1934 and loved living on the coast, watching sunsets, softshell crabbing and gardening. She was a resident of Gulf Hills for 41 years and celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband, Richard, in 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda (Ron) Smith of Charlotte, NC and Cynthia Davis of Dallas, TX, a brother John Johnson of Baltimore, MD and granddaughters Stacy Joseph and Ashley Joseph both of Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 2, 2012, from 5:30 pm ~ 6:00 pm, with a 6 pm chapel service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery next to her husband.
