Ann Jarvis McPhearson

Ann Jarvis McPhearson was escorted by heavenly angels into the presence of Jesus on March 4, 2009, at the age of 96. Ann was born on August 30, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Jarvis. She graduated from high school in Arcola, MS, and completed four years at King Daughters Hospital in Greenville, MS., becoming a Registered Nurse. Her nursing career included county health nurse, director of nursing and in later years doctor's offices. Ann married William M. McPhearson and lived for many years in Ocean Springs, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, J.H. Jarvis and sister Ruby Bagley. Survivors include her sister, Margaret Harrison, numerous nieces and nephews and other longtime friends in Ocean Springs. Visitation will be on Monday, March 9, 2009, from 1-2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
