Ann Murray Tootle, 86, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022. She left this life in the way she lived it, filled with grace, peace, and a steadfast faith in God.
Ann was born in Hattiesburg, MS on December 15, 1935. As a young wife and mother, she moved to the coast, where she lived the remainder of her life. Ann will be remembered for her infectious smile, her many acts of kindness, generosity, and service to others. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, William Dennis and Daisy Flurry Murray; her husband, William Everett Tootle; her first husband, John D. Baltar; her son-in-law, Randy Trahan; and two great- grandchildren, Abel and Willa Parker.
Survivors include her children, Ann Carol (Ron) Porter, Michelle (Steven) Skrmetta, Kay Trahan, Teresa (Donnie) Hayes and William B. Tootle; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She touched many lives and was a blessing to all.
The family wishes to express sincere and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of the administrators, nurses, aides and staff members at the Greenbriar Nursing Center for their tireless service, love, and compassion. Much appreciation is also extended to Gloria and the SAADs Hospice Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in memory of Ann.
