Ann Schwartz

Ann Schwartz, age 84, of Ocean Springs, passed away on June 12, 2017. Ann was born in the Bronx, New York on February 18, 1933. She was the first in her family to be born in the United States. She enjoyed working, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her unbreakable spirit and her spit-fire attitude. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Freida and Alex Greenspan. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Schwartz; daughter, Donna Handelman; son, Jeffrey Schwartz; grandchildren, Alexis Schwartz, Candace Schwartz, Michael Handleman and Michelle Handelman. The family would like to thank her caretakers Rose Foss and Willie Ellis for the compassion they showed her during her final days. We would also like to thank Southern Care Hospice and Sunplex Rehabilitation for all of the services provided over the past months. On Thursday, June 15, there will be a 10 am graveside service at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
