Anna Lacy Stanfield

Mrs. Anna Lacy Stanfield, 65, of Biloxi, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 in Biloxi. Mrs. Stanfield had been a member of the Gulf Coast community for the past 37 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi where she was involved in various activities. She volunteered at the Moore Community House and the Morning Star Clinic. She devoted her profesional life to working with special needs children. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Mrs. Stanfield was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Allen and Lucy Potts Lacy; and a sister, Lucy Johnson. Mrs. Stanfield is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gordon Stanfield; a daughter, Anna Harris and her husband David of Biloxi; a son, Victor Allen Stanfield of Gulfport; and a sister, Evelyn Roberson of Clarksdale, MS. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Ronald McDonald House, 2524 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216-4500. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park. Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
