Mrs. Anna Lee Langlinais Wallis, 83, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, October 9, 2005, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Wallis was born in Youngsville, LA and had been a Biloxi resident for most of her life. She worked for many years in the seafood industry and also cooked for various restaurants in the Biloxi area. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Wallis, Sr. Survivors include her six daughters, Patricia Cobb of New Iberia, LA, Georgia Clark of McCool, MS, Linda Wallis of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Charlotte Joplin of Crestview, FL, Sharon Touchet of St. Martin and Donna Willis of Pensacola, FL; six sons, Joseph Wallis of New Iberia, LA, Kenneth Wallis of Lexington Park, MD, George W. Wallis, Jr. of Ocean Springs, Robert Wallis of Vancleave, Ricky Wallis of Austin, Texas and Troy Wallis of Birmingham, AL; forty grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, October 13, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
