Anna Bryan McCollough

Mrs. Anna Bryan McCollough, age 93, was called home by her Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was a sweet and precious lady who was affectionately called "Mrs. Bea" by those who knew her. Anyone you asked would tell you that she always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. You could hear her whistling or singing everywhere she went. Anna was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Ocean Springs where she was very involved in making bears for the children being treated at Ocean Springs Hospital. She moved to the coast with her husband in 1941 and worked at Keesler AFB as an accounting technician for 30 years. Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Hugh Thomas McCollough, son, Hugh Eric McCollough, grandsons, Brent Austin Burrell and Brandon Thomas Burrell, sister, Virginia Bilz and brothers, Ernie, Garnet, Ray, James, Arthur and Jack. Survivors include her daughter, Bambi (Billy) Burrell, granddaughters, Brooke (Luke) Riggins, Kimberly (Aaron) Arias, Ericka (Jake) Perdue, Courtney (Joe) Garcia, great-grandchildren, Autum, Presley, Miles, Willow, Jacob, Hunter, Austin, Aydan, Maddox, Cheyenne and Caydence. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 14, from 10am until 11am, with an 11am church service, all at the Ocean Springs Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made in her memory to the Ocean Springs Church of Christ, 1116 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, Ms 39564. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
