Anna Thompson entered into eternal rest late in the evening on Thursday, July 18 in her home in Biloxi. The life-long Point Cadet resident was born December 11, 1924 to the late Annie Mozara Kuluz and Tony M. Kuluz. She was a faithful and devout Catholic and volunteered countless hours to St. Michael’s Catholic Church as a member of St. Michael’s Altar Society.
Anna attended St. Michael’s Elementary and Sacred Heart High School. She was a charter member of the Slavonian Ladies Auxiliary and was extremely involved with their annual pusharata sale and the Slavic International Golf Tournament. She worked as a bookkeeper at Biloxi Canning Company, Biloxi Freezing Company and C.F. Gollott and Sons Seafood and always remembered her friends and colleagues fondly.
She enjoyed weekly card games with her close friends and cousins and occasional casino visits. Anna was a major supporter of any activity involving her children and grandchildren and was often seen cheering them on at local ballparks and theatres.
