Becky Searcy Lynch

Anner Rebecca Searcy Lynch was born January 10, 1949 and passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 after a long battle with ALS.

From an early age, she had instilled in her a love for her country, as her father served in multiple branches and wars. As soon as she could, she joined the Air Force and gave her entire life serving her country and teaching other Airmen while changing their lives. She loved Disney (she called it her happy place), Christmas, and being with friends and family. Becky was the most giving person that would help anyone she saw that needed anything, but never asked anyone else for help. She lived life big, but loved much bigger. She was selfless, caring, and “adopted” everyone she met as her family.

She will be remembered by all she came in contact with. She now knows no pain and is now wrapped in God’s loving embrace watching over us all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Catherine Searcy; and stepson, Christopher Pittman.

She is survived by four children, Betty (Rick) Sharp, Lana (James) Victory, Daniel (Kimberly) Lynch, and Kayla Lynch (Fiancé AJ); step-children, Freddie (Stephanie) Pittman and Amanda Pittman; grandchildren, Jared Victory (Fiancé Lillie), Abigail Victory, Chase Lynch, Brooklynn Lynch, and Ray Sharpe; step- grandchildren, Kelsey Pittman, Colby Pittman, Ragen Pittman, Brayden Pittman, Alexis Wyatt, Bubbie Pittman, Keryn Johnson, and Kirsten Pittman; two siblings, Sue Mitchell and Cliff Searcy; and nieces and nephews, Ty Wilson, Tracy Wilson, Cliff Searcy, and Robert Searcy; and her family at Dark Knights at the 338^th training squadron.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the ALS Foundation.
