Annie Verniece Bullock

Mrs. Verniece Bullock, age 91, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, in Gautier, MS. Mrs. Bullock was born in Jackson County and remained a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She retired from the E.R. Moore Company in Ocean Springs and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, also in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Bullock, sons, Gereld Bullock and James Bullock, her parents, Aristide Letort and Nora Quave Letort, sisters, Hilda Gable, Alethia Diaz, and Ella Thomas, and brothers, Vernon Letort and Ira Letort. Survivors include a brother, Everett Letort of St. Martin, a stepgrandchild, Darnell (Angie) Atwell of Ocean Springs, great-stepgrandchildren, Kenneth Atwell and Tommy Atwell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM, with a 3 PM Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Bosarge Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
