Anthonius “Tony” Franciscus Maria Kindts, 74, of Gulfport, died Friday, December 3, 2010 in Gulfport.
Mr. Kindts was originally from the Netherlands but immigrated to the United States in 1967. He passed away thirty years to the day after proudly becoming a United States Citizen on December 3, 1980. Mr. Kindts was a master gardener and a stain glass artist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Petrus and Louise Kindts.
Survived by his wife, Gerda Kindts; three daughters, Adriana Arceneaux and her husband Meryl of Kansas, Sonja Gillis and her husband Jody of Gulfport, and Monique Favors and her husband Barry of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Louise Kindts, Annie Moerbeek and Rita DeLange all of the Netherlands; two brothers, Johan Kindts of the Netherlands and Peter Kindts of Spain; seven grandchildren, Alex Arceneaux of Kansas, Dylan, Shelby and Austin Gillis of Gulfport, and Jordan, Skyler and Ella Favors of Ocean Springs. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Suzy and Lady.
The family prefers memorials to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
The funeral service will be Monday, December 6, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Gardens.
