Anthony Wayne Theriot

Anthony Wayne “Tony” Theriot, 57, of Biloxi, MS “The Point” passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in Vancleave.

Tony was born on November 10, 1965 in Biloxi, MS to Kathy and Norris “Bubba” Theriot. He graduated from Biloxi High School and served in the Army National Guard. Tony was a Floor Supervisor in the casino industry on the Gulf Coast and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, watching New Orleans Saints football, researching family history, reading his Bible and playing his guitar. Tony was a loving father, brother and son and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Theriot; his paternal grandparents, Wilton “Push” and Martha Romero Theriot; and his maternal grandparents, Edward Calcote and Katherine Buckley.

Tony’s survivors include his daughter, Emily Katherine Theriot; his father, Norris “Bubba” Theriot; his siblings, Tonya (Shane) Theriot Rusher and Toby (Laurie) Theriot; his nephews, Tyler Theriot, Toby Theriot and Jordan Theriot; his nieces, Vivian Theriot and Kalie “Shugee” Theriot; his step-nephew, Shane (Carolyn) Rusher; his step-niece, Destiny (Elbert) Rusher; his great-nieces, Ambreigh Theriot and Magnolia Rusher; and his great-nephew, Shane “T-boy” Rusher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. A reception will follow services at the St. Michael Parish Hall.
