Arlene Ruiz

Mrs. Arlene Ruiz, age 69, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Ruiz was born in Pascagoula, MS., on October 20, 1936. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Lefebre, father, Archie Wilson, and sister, Jesse Harris. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Homero Peppy Ruiz, children, Kimberly Bear, Shawn Dickinson, Taino Ruiz, Desiree Woroner, Lavon Staten, Tony Ruiz, Ricky Ruiz, Aloma Pearson, and Belinda Zitko, all loving sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and siblings, Jeanette Blackmon, Judy Norcross, Lauren Christovich, Charles Wilson, nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, her ever faithful dogs, Rebel, Merle and Outlaw, and many friends. Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, 2006, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, July 1, 2006, there will be a 2 PM chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com.
