Arlie Duane Lamas, 67, of Latimer, MS passed away on January 25, 2025.
He was born on November 22, 1957. He graduated from St. Martin High School and Perk. He was known as a standout baseball player who was a left-handed hard hitter as well as a hard thrower from the outfield. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Draftsman/Designer. Arlie was of the Baptist faith. He loved hunting and fishing and sports of all kinds, especially the Atlanta Braves.
Arlie was preceded in death by his father, Harry Benedict Lamas.
He is survived by his mom, Winnie Iris Lamas of Latimer; son, Brandon Duane Lamas of Ocean Springs; sisters, Nora Rene Geraldi and Angela Kay (Stanley) Jones of Latimer; nephews, Brent (Angela) Jones and Elliott Jones of Latimer; niece, Amber Poulos of Latimer; and several great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
